American Crime 3×08 Reaction Post

Tonight’s season finale of American Crime brought closure to the various storylines that wove their way through the previous seven episodes and culminated in the convergence of those stories. We only got to see a few quick shots of Tim’s JD Hesby at the very end of the episode (is anyone surprised), but it was interesting to see how the rest of the Hesby’s story (mainly Jeanette’s) played out.

So what did you all think of the episode, as well as the season in general?

With the show starting to wrap up the various story lines in preparation for next week’s season finale, we only got to see one scene featuring Tim’s JD Hesby again this time. It was an interesting one, to say the least – I’ll stop there for those who haven’t yet seen the episode!

So what did you think about JD’s revelation? And do you think Laurie Ann had something to do with it, as Jeanette suspected? For those following the other story lines, what do you think about what happened this week?

American Crime 3×06 Reaction Post

This week’s episode was the second (and last) in which Tim’s character didn’t appear. He’ll be back next week (as we saw in the preview at the end of tonight’s episode)! We decided to do the reaction posts anyway, for those who are watching in general.

So what did you think of this week’s episode? The main focus was on the Coates family and Gabrielle, as well as Shae, whose story escalated rather quickly by the end of the episode. As always, post your thoughts in the comments.

As I mentioned on Instagram, Tim’s character JD doesn’t appear in this week’s episode or next week’s. We’re going to do the reaction posts anyway, to keep the discussion going.

So, what did you think of this week’s episode? I won’t put spoilers here (you can include them in your comments), but what about Jeanette’s decision? Post your thoughts in the comments below, as usual!

Once again, we only got to see one scene with Tim (the drawback of being on a show with multiple storylines, I guess), but it was a wonderful one, and I’m once again impressed by the way Tim and Felicity Huffman work together.

So what did you think? And do you think Laurie Ann was telling the truth about JD’s visit to their father? Let us know in the comments below!

American Crime 3×03 Reaction Post

We finally got to see more of JD Hesby this week and got to hear more of his backstory, as well as that of his family. And once again, the preview hinted at even more next week, including a shift in JD’s attitude toward the workers and their living conditions.

What did you all think of this week’s episode? Post your thoughts in the comments! 🙂

American Crime 3×02 Reaction Post

Still only one scene with Tim’s JD this week, but with so many different story lines going on, it’s not surprising. This time, we got a little more insight into JD’s world, and judging by the preview, that will extend into next week’s episode.

So, what did you think? You know the drill – share your thoughts in the comments below!

American Crime 3×01 Reaction Post

It’s been almost five months since the announcement about Tim joining the third season of the critically-acclaimed ABC drama, American Crime, and tonight, we finally got to see the premiere episode!

So even though we didn’t get to see much of Tim in the premiere, what did you think of his character, JD Hesby, and the show in general? Let us know in the comments!

Second Chance – my thoughts after this first season

When I first heard about Tim being cast in a Frankenstein show, I have to say I was a little skeptical… I was happy at the perspective to see him in another show, but I’ve never been particularly interested in the Frankenstein story. I do like Sci-Fi, though, at least a certain kind. So a modern version of it could be fun. And I could just watch for Tim. It’s not like I haven’t done this sort of things before. After all, I fast-forward through all the biblical stuff in Carnivàle, but I still love the carnie world and Jonesy is one of my favorite of Tim’s characters.

But in the end, Frankenstein aka The Frankenstein Code aka Lookinglass aka Second Chance ended up to be quite a good show, that I genuinely enjoyed all around. And much better than you might think just from the premise. Now, I’d be very sad if Fox doesn’t renew it. Which, I know is a slim chance, but the fact that they haven’t just called it yet means there is a chance.

What a finale! Full of action, and emotions, and twists…I don’t know about you, but I had at least three heart attacks during that finale episode… What did you think of Gelassenheit?
